Burning Fat

I can remember back to a time when I was trying to get really “shredded.” I saw some of the more fit guys running on the treadmill or doing the stair climber after a workout. I figured that I would conquer the stair climber. 10 minutes later and a burning booty I looked down at the number of calories I had burned. 74 calories… not even half of a snack size hershey bar. I threw my hands up and walked my sore booty home.

In order to get shredded, some cardio can help. However, abs start in the kitchen. Many people believe that eating fat means that you will be fat. This has been disproven time and time again. Bad fats make you fat and good fats actually can help you burn fat. That discussion is for another time and place. We actually gain the majority of our fat from carbohydrates. Yes, all of those sugary treats! Carbohydrates are typically very simple for the body to digest and turn into quick sugars. When the body has an influx of sugar it releases a hormone that I am sure you heard of called insulin. The primary role of insulin is to force the sugar in your blood stream to be absorbed into cells. When the body already has all of the sugar that it needs for fuel it very easily converts those sugars into fat.

How do we mobilize that fat and burn it as sugar?

I will spare you all of the complex biochemistry with how exactly this happens. Essentially, what we need to do is burn off all of our quick sugar sources. In terms of a workout… a great way to do this is through burst or HIIT training. In terms of supplementation, I highly, highly, recommend a product called Dynamic Burn. The second this product hit the shelf, my patients have been ranting and raving. I personally use this product and have also noticed a big difference. On day 10 of taking this product I looked in the mirror and thought to myself “dang, I’m looking a little more shredded.” at 14 days there was a definitive difference. Lets dive into how it works.

Dynamic Burn contains what are known as ketone salts. We have all heard of the ketogenic diet and putting your body into a state of what is called ketosis. Ketosis is just a fancy word for sugar starvation. Research has shown that the ketone salts in dynamic burn can actually flip your system into that fat burning ketosis mode in 30 minutes! Dynamic Burn also contain a full amino acid profile–particularly high in the branched chain amino acids (BCAA’s.) Amino acids are crucial for building lean muscle mass. Without amino acids, your body actually can’t effectively build muscle. This product not only assists in burning fat but also building muscle. Sounds too good to be true.

When to take Dynamic Burn?

I typically consume Dynamic Burn either right before or during a workout. I want the BCAA’s at a high level during a workout for my muscles to quickly recover and build. When performing anaerobic exercise such as HIIT training or weight lifting, it is awesome to be in ketosis. This causes the body to start mobilizing fat for energy right away. Another option for this product would be to take a scoop before bedtime so that your body has the amino acids it needs to rebuild and repair while also having the fat burning benefits of the keto salts.
